This Term we have been writing a story about a chimp that went to space. Here is my story I have not finished but I am proud of how much I have written. Hope you enjoy it!
Hi, my name is Jack. It is 1961 and I am going into space to discover new plants. I was first, very excited, but when I hopped into the spaceship my heart started to pound. I have a mate called Mat, he was my trainer. He trained me in case there was an emergency. “Are you ready Jack?” (came from the speaker.)
“OO AA.” (that means yes in Chimp.)
If you are wondering why a Chimp is going to space well when I lived in the wild, I got attacked by a human, lucky that Mat was there to save me. Then he took me home and took great care of me. He trained me to help people if they needed it.
One day the phone rang (ring, ring). Mat went to go pick it up, “Hello is Mat there?” said a stranger's voice.
“ Speaking, what would you like?” replied Mat.
“ I heard that you have a chimp we need him to help us to discover new plants.”
“ Why can’t ask someone else.”
“No this Chimp is what we need right now.”
“ Well I guess you can. How long will he be in space for.”
“ Well maybe 65 years.”
“ Ok Bye have a good day. Jack pick your bags!”
“ OOOOO AAAAA?” (That means why in Chimp)
“ You are going to space”
“ OAOAOAOA.”
(2 minutes after)
“ Have you pack your bags Jack?”
“OO AA.”
“Then get in the car we have to leave now. We are hear,”
“ Wall I see you have made Jack go to the toilet and get cang”
That is what happened 3,2,1 blast off! I heard a sound it was Mat “ have fun hope you make It.” He seader me for a minute BAM I full into a deep sleep. (65 years later) I wake up from my deep sleep I can see the
milky way it look like rainbow spicules and chocolate!

I hit the ground I can smell it smell like something coming into my capsule I hop out this is not fer why did you do this WHY, WHY, WHY you send me into space to make My home BAG something hit my head Jack it is so good to see you said a stranger's voice. I look back “ Dad is that you what did you do ” I was anger I did not want at look him my own Dad did this. I run to my capsule and started to cry .my Dad come to me “ why are you her I thought you were in New Zealand?”
“What, where am I Dad?”
“You are in America.”
“WHAT AMERICA I HAVE TO GO BYEEE LOVE YOU! ”
I get in the spaceship BOOM! I started to head into space again.
I started to see the stars that shone so brightly as if a disco ball had blown up in space.
